LIMEZ (Sativa) Cannabis Derived Terpenes:

LIMEZ is a really unique terpene profile and it’s kind of hard to believe it’s cannabis derived. It smells more like actual limes than cannabis terpenes. The highest concentration terpene in it is understandably Limonene, but the reason it smells so strongly of limes is actually a bit more complex. While Limonene on its own is citrusy, when it’s paired with some green/camphor type notes it starts to develop a distinct lime aroma. This strain did a shockingly good job at producing so many similar terpenes that you’d see in actual limes.

Fenchol, Terpinolene, and 1,8-Cineole (a close relative of Eucalyptol) are in above average amounts and have similar ratios to what you’d see in a lime essential oil. Hexanol, which is not a terpene by definition, but rather an aliphatic alcohol, has an extremely strong green/herbaceous aroma that really amplifies the lime note.
While the aroma of LIMEZ is undoubtably a sour citrus, once mixed at 6-7% the flavor is very complex. It’s still extremely lime-like but some of the hashy/herbaceous notes come through more.
